The New Era Times is an online newspaper and so much more. This is a large scale website that launched June 18, 2010. It has considerable functionality, and is a real show stopper. At this time they are adding content, and putting up a new issue every month.
Robin is an expert on finding ways for all types of people to be comfortably involved in the preserving and improving our environment. She had written a fun and useful book, You Don't Have to Wear Hemp Underwear, to help all of us take part in this conservation effort, and needed to present it to the world. We worked with her in the "I Wrote The Book: Now What?" program, created a custom contact list, a pitch and a press release, a video book trailer, and are implementing them for her. Her book is launching Spring of 2010 from Motivational Press.
Bruce's book, The Gymnastics of Love & Discipline, A Parental Template for Giving Children a Voice, presents a new way to get children's attention and direct them in positives directions. He wanted a website that reflected his new processes, and allow him to display his speaking engagements and workshops. By working closely with him, the Stimulating Conversation Team was able to translate his dreams and goals into a website and a video book trailer. He now is able to use his website and video as teaching tools to supplement his book, and speaking schedule.
Ilona had a success story to tell and a guide to help others succeed financially: The Spenders Guide to Becoming A Millionaire. Her website was in place but she wanted to expand her exposure and outreach. We created a custom list of contacts for her. A pitch and a press release, and video book trailer were developed and distributed. The services allowed her to reach more interested people with her message, and open up her audience to a wider base. She also has a memoir in the works.

The founders of the show wanted to be able to use the website to provide viewer resources, and information, as well as the previous episodes of the show. The site was designed to match their branding, and considerable extra functionality was used to allow resources to automatically add their information to the website.
Tracy is our ever reluctant author, who writes these really great book. So, yes, it is true, Renee forced her to start being more proactive in marketing her books. Tracy already had a platform in the works, and was active on Gather.com, so it was not as painful as Tracy might claim to get her a beautiful website, groovy video book trailer, and extensive reviews for her second book, Reasons. Her third book, Sending Rupert Home, due out 2010 has a full scale marketing campaign lined up, and her book series set in the Mobile Bay area are currently being shopped around for publishing.
Yes, he is Renee's Dad and Naomi's husband and published author, therefore he gets the whole shebang! Gary thought that his work was being marketed and promoted by Wiley, his publisher. He also thought he website that he used for his students and his research was just fine for the books. Then he wrote a book to reach a wider audience, and the standard publisher issue marketing and technical website were no longer enough. Gary now has a shiny new website, a small social media presence, as whole defined platform, and two manuscripts being shopped around. He has been quoted on The New York Times Freaknomics Blog, The CPA Journal, and contacted by the BBC about the history of accounting. He us fully appreciating the process of author marketing, and seeing results.
Heather wanted a site that reflected her studio to those who looking for yoga classes. Stimulating Conversation turned her vision into a site with extra functionality, she loves. She also had a video book trailer made to use on the site and in presentations.
Doris wrote several children's books that are educational and fun. She provides programs about her books and wanted videos to use in the presentations. The videos were fun to do and fun to watch.
The ABC's Press division of The Book Connection runs a Children's Picture Book Contest annually. Rita decided that she wanted something special for the winners. She contacted Stimulating Conversation to create a video book trailer for each winning book. The videos came out so cute the authors use them when they do presentations and school visits.
